efex acquires WorldMark Corporate Consulting

We're pleased to announce the acquisition of Geelong-based WorldMark Corporate Consulting to strengthen our presence in regional Victoria.

This strategic acquisition will establish efex’s presence in Victoria’s second-largest city while adding a highly experienced team with deep expertise across multiple sectors, but particularly in the specialised IT needs of medical services firms and specialist medical consulting. WorldMark will gain access to efex's extensive suite of IT services, including the recently launched Managed Cyber solutions, designed to deliver enhanced cybersecurity tailored for SMEs.

The deal marks efex’s sixth acquisition of a Victorian regional business over the past five years and will expand efex’s client base by over 10% in the state, adding approximately 200 new clients.

Founded by Adam Galle in 1997, WorldMark Corporate Consulting has earned a strong reputation for its cloud consulting, infrastructure services, and its ability to navigate the strict regulatory and compliance requirements of medical businesses.

Nick Sheehan, CEO of efex, commented, “This acquisition aligns seamlessly with our growth strategy for 2024, as we continue to strengthen our presence across Victoria and deliver high-quality IT solutions to more regional businesses. We’re excited to welcome Adam, Paul, and the entire WorldMark team into the efex family, as they have built a stellar reputation for IT consulting excellence in Geelong and beyond.”

Adam Galle, founder of WorldMark Corporate Consulting, added, “Our clients can expect the same level of exceptional service and support, but now with the added benefit of efex’s broader resources and product offerings. Partnering with efex enables us to provide expanded solutions to our clients, especially through access to cutting-edge managed services.”

WorldMark will continue to operate under its well-established brand, maintaining its strong local reputation in the Geelong area. The current leadership team, led by Adam Galle and Paul Chapman, will remain in place to ensure a smooth transition and continued delivery of top-tier services.

Nick Sheehan concluded, “This acquisition is a critical step in our broader strategy to grow both organically and through targeted acquisitions. Victoria—and specifically Geelong—is a key growth area for us, and we see immense value in WorldMark, a company that shares our commitment to delivering tailored IT solutions to regional businesses.”
